Step 1:

• Start your rose drawing by sketching an oval. Your flower's center is here. Since nothing in nature appears to be flawless, it is not necessary. Your rose will look beautiful no matter how you doodle it. 
• Because you could make mistakes as a beginner and wish to return and fix them, it is advisable to use a light pencil. Consequently, it is advised to use a light pencil.

Step 2: 

• Inside the oval, doodle a little spiral. Both the spiral's orientation and the number of turns are unimportant.

Step 3:
