Cute Tiger Drawing For Kids | Drawing For Kids Tutorial
Drawing For Kids tutorial shows step-by-step instructions for drawing a tiger's head and face, progressing from a line drawing to some simple, beginner-friendly shading.
Although Drawing For Kids a tiger can be somewhat challenging, this tutorial was created with beginners in mind and uses basic shading. Only step five can be reached if you wish to simplify it (a line drawing with some dark fill for the stripes, eyes, and nose).
Step By Step Tiger Drawing For Kids
Step 1:
- Make a construction-line drawing of the tiger's head's general shape as the first step.
- Without including any finer details, sketch a straightforward rendition of the tiger's head's main features. Establishing the main shape of a tiger's head and face and ensuring that all of the different proportions are the correct sizes in respect to one another are the objectives.
- As you will need to remove most of the lines in subsequent steps, make sure to keep the lines for this stage of the drawing very light. To make it simpler for you to perceive the lines, they have been slightly darkened in the samples.
Step 2:
- Sketch the Outline of the Facial Features
- Start creating the outlines of the tiger's facial characteristics in line with the previous step's guidance lines.
- Again, draw very fine lines because you will also need to erase some of them.
Step 3:
- Basic Line Drawing.
- Remove the overlapping lines from the previous stage and add some smaller elements to the tiger's face, like the eye pupils and some lines for the "whisker" area.
- Additionally, you can use a solid dark fill to conceal the darker parts of the nose and eyes.
Step 4:
- Detailed Line Drawing.
- For this phase, you can add a few hints of the tiger's fur to the inside of the ears and the outer borders of the skull. Draw the fur in an assortment of different-sized and-shaped "small clumps."
- The outside forms of the stripes should then be drawn in.
Step 5:
- Fundamental Shading
- To make the fur stripes appear more natural, fill in the stripes with some simple, one-direction strokes of variable length (no crosshatch required). To add more detail to the fur, you can also make a few additional strokes in the head and ear outline areas.
- Once you've completed the steps above, draw some whiskers from the "whisker lines" near the mouth. Produce an effort to make these with somewhat variable lengths and curves.
- After completing this stage, you have two options: leave the drawing as-is or continue on to the following phase.
Step 6:
- Draw a fully shaded image.
- Applying mild colouring to the darker sections of the head's fur and illustrating some fundamental light and shadow can help the drawing stand out.
- In this situation, the darker fur will usually be found along the nose, forehead, and top of the head; therefore, you should shade there. The tiger's primary light source will be above and in front of it, making the bridge of its nose significantly paler than the rest of its darker fur.
- Additionally, since those areas are typically more shielded from light, you can darken the inside of the ears by applying more strokes. Additionally, you can smooth out the entire drawing by adding extra strokes where necessary (see the drawing example above).
